We couldn't have asked for more. It was a perfect ride. The horses, scenery and wrangler all made this ride enjoyable. The horses were well behaved and the trail was fantastic. Just the right amount of conversation and information with time to relax and take it all in!

I rode the sunset ride with my wife and daughter< we all enjoyed the ride very much. We had ridden in a group ride in Hawaii, but we all thought this was way far better. Our wrangler Calvin was funny and informative. He also let there be long periods of quiet so that we could all enjoy the surroundings. It was peaceful, serene, exciting and spectacular, all at the same time. Many thanks to Ponderosa stables and every hard working wrangler for making our ride smooth and enjoyable.

I wanted to tell you that the Dinner Ride was the BEST! I submitted a review to Trip Advisor. I copied here for you to see: The Dinner Ride at Ponderosa Stables was a highlight of my trip to Phoenix, AZ. It's a short cab ride from downtown Phoenix, but once in the desert, you feel you are hundreds of miles away from the concrete arenas, offices, and hotels of the downtown. The staff are friendly and welcoming and they know their horses! You head out around 5 pm for an hour ride to the T-Bone Restaurant (good, casual restaurant - meal cost not included in the VERY reasonable cost of the ride), and when you are finished, you ride back through the desert. During the ride to the restaurant, you watch the sunset, on the ride back, it's another world as you hear the clip clop of the hooves, the moon and stars above, and the silhouettes of your group climbing over the ride. I was there for a conference with a group of colleagues. While we didn't plan it, this experience was a great team building and bonding exercise. I highly recommend Ponderosa Stables!
