My friend and I went for a ride for her birthday. It was the first time she was on a horse, ever, and of course she LOVED it, and we both cannot wait to go back again!! We got to stop along the ride and got some great photos that our wrangler took for us. A lot of our friends were jealous and want to go with us next time :) so we are planning another ride soon with more friends!!

I'm 22 years old and the last time I was on a horse I was 12, so this experience for me was great! I had a blast with my guide. I went on a two hour trail, but I wish I could have done a longer one.

If you want an authentic trail riding experience, then Ponderosa Stables is the place for you! The terrain was fairly rugged in places which keeps the ride interesting. A very inexperienced rider may be intimidated at first by the terrain, but trust me, the horses know what they are doing. We did the 4 hour T-Bone steakhouse ride. Dinner was very good and if I am ever in the area again, Ponderosa Stables is a must! The pricing is extremely reasonable which makes this something that you could do quite often if you life locally. I am saddened by the fact that I live so far away because this would be a great date night activity. The scenery is beautiful and you might even catch a glimpse of a coyote roaming around! We had a wonderful time and I wouldn't have changed a thing.
