Long pants and closed-toe shoes are recommended. We also suggest layering as the weather in the Rocky Mountains can change quickly.

We suggest that you bring just water and a camera.

We will ride depending on how severe the rain is.
Please DO NOT bring ponchos. You will only be allowed to ride with a raincoat.

Helmets are provided but not required. We recommend children 12 and under wear helmets.

2 to 5 years old can ride double. Children 6 and above can ride their own horse if they are big enough (determined at the discretion of the stable). Children less than 2 shouldn’t and are not allowed to ride.

We do sell bottled water at several of our locations. We recommend you bring your own bottle just in case we run out.

For the safety of our guests and horses, trotting is not allowed. It’s much more enjoyable to walk your horse on a scenic mountain trail, anyway.
