• Ponderosa was outstanding!!Took my wife on a surprise date here for her birthday and wasn’t sure if it was the right choice. After being greeted by the incredibly friendly staff, we were off on our sunset ride to the tbone steakhouse. The dinner was awesome and all of the wranglers were knowledgable about the history and the nature of the ride. Would recommend to anyone who is interested in Arizona history and enjoy the occasional horse ride.

  • I have never been on a horse before and I absolutely loved it! The sunset trail ride is beautiful and really gave you a sense of what life was like years ago. Loved every minutes of it and will definitely do it again! Employees at the ranch were great, especially the man at the front desk :-).

  • It was a great last evening of our road trip. We came early for our ride and we were welcomed to stay inside and wait or we could have the same ride but earlier if we wanted to! We appreciated the offer but we waited! We were talking for a while which was really nice! After that we had a “private” ride sunset tour and we enjoyed the landscape on the back of our cute horses:). It was a great experience in this heat!!!

After not riding a horse in 10 years, doing the trail ride really brought back great memories, and it also showed me that dismounting a horse is harder the older you get! Haha! My apologizes to the staff member that I nearly tackled in dismounting my horse! Honestly I have nothing to suggest here. I truly enjoyed the entire experience and am looking forward to the next.

  • The process with signing up for a ride was incredibly simple! The website was easy to use and very imformative! Our wrangler was extremely sweet as it was my daughters first time riding solo. Can’t wait for our next ride!
